BURN BOWL FIRE PIT SAFETY TIPS

Follow these simple safety tips:

  • Keep fire pits at least 15′ from all potentially combustible materials, including but not limited to home, decking, sheds and trees.
  • Use a spark screen during use if possible, (I know you don’t offer them, but this would prevent cinders from flying, but those covers generally don’t last because they are of metal mesh).
  • Cover to extinguish and make sure fully extinguished before leaving unattended.
  • Only burn dry seasoned wood, no trash, clippings/leaves of any kind, or construction materials.
  • Always keep a hose, fire extinguisher, or bucket of water nearby when using pit.
  • Supervise at all times children and pets that may be near to the pit.
  • Always install only on flat non-flammable surfaces, and never under awnings, overhangs, permanent coverings, tents, or trees.
